Low Calorie Foods

Eating low calorie foods is key to losing and/or maintaining a healthy weight. Reduce your calorie intake slowly. This will result in more weight loss over a period of time. Combine low calorie foods with exercise to maximize weight loss.

Low calorie foods:

Rice cakes – Plain rice cakes are only around 35 calories and fat free.

Low-fat cottage cheese – Along with benefits from dairy cottage cheese has only 80 calories a serving.

Cherry tomatoes – There are only around 10 calories in 4 cherry tomatoes.

Popcorn – Not the pre-packaged kind but the whole kernel you pop in a hot air popper.

Pickles – Dill and slices. A guilt free snack that can help fill you up.

Light bread  – only 40 calories a slice vs 60 for regular bread.

Sugar free jello – very low in calories and come in a variety of flavors.

Cool whip – Surprisingly low in calories. Eat it frozen instead of ice cream.

Crunchy Vegetables – You can eat these with very little calorie intake.

Egg whites prepared with non-stick spray – Removing the egg yolk reduces calorie and fat intake.
